Since birthing into the fitness world with his first place finish in the 2001 Million-Dollar Body-for-Life Challenge, Joel Marion, CISSN, NSCA-CPT has been relentless with respect to increasing his knowledge and practical experience within the specialties of training and nutrition--and for one reason--to assist others in discovering and achieving their true physical potential.

Thousands of individuals have sought out Joel for his advice and direction, with special regard to his unique thoughts on dieting and the use of dietary "cheating" tactics to accelerate fat loss.

Via online consultation as available through his coaching services, Joel has designed fitness and nutrition programs for doctors, lawyers, businessmen and women, models, and athletes as well as the average Joe and Jane looking to improve his or her appearance in the mirror.

Having trained clients in Japan, Australia, Lebanon, Belgium, Hungary, Ireland, England, Mexico, and Canada in addition to the vast majority of the continental United States, Joel's program design has helped individuals all over the world in quest to the acquisition of their goals.

Joel obtained Bachelor of Science degrees in both Exercise Science and Health/Physical Education from The College of New Jersey, where he graduated with honors, Magna Cum Laude. Joel is also certified as a sports nutritionist and personal trainer through the nation's premiere certification agencies, the International Society of Sports Nutrition and National Strength and Conditioning Association, respectively.

In the last 5 years, Joel has authored numerous articles on the subjects of conditioning and nutrition for such popular publications as Muscle Media, Men's Fitness, and Testosterone Magazine, and currently serves as a member of the Men's Fitness Training Advisory Team. Joel has also had his work published on the web at Bodybuilding.com, JohnBerardi.com, and EAS.com.

His debut book, The Cheat to Lose Diet, was published by Random House, Inc. in August of 2007.
