Nick Nilsson
Expertise: Creative Training & Muscle Building I've been weight training for 17 years, been a personal trainer for 10 years, a professional fitness writer for 6 years (published in Men's Fitness, Reps Magazine, Muscle & Fitness and on hundreds of websites) and I've got a degree in Physical Education, covering advanced biomechanics, physiology and kinesiology. I've published 6 weight training books: "The Best Abdominal Exercises You've Never Heard Of" "The Best Exercises You've Never Heard Of" "Metabolic Surge - Rapid Fat Loss" "Gluteus to the Maximus - Build a Bigger Butt NOW!" "Specialization Training" "Hybrid Training" As a trainer, I've worked with everyone from complete beginners to professional athletes and even collegiate strength coaches. My favorite people to work with have always been the ones who get totally fired up when I show them things they've NEVER seen before. THAT is what I really enjoy and THAT is why I put together this site. You see, for all my 17 years in the gym, I've been training with a purpose... That purpose has been to come up with new and more effective training ideas every single time I was in the gym. And you know what? In 17 years, I've come up with something in almost every single workout I've done. It's what keeps me training hard and having fun every time I set foot in the gym! I'm actually a natural ectomorph (which means skinny!), so you can imagine the kind of training (and eating!) it took to get this point. When I started weight training, I was a cross-country runner and weighed all of 140 lbs soaking wet. No exaggeration. I've had to train HARD to get to this point. And you know what? You can learn the MOST from someone who's had to fight for every once of muscle they've put on.
