Muscle Building Supplements Guide
Nutritional supplements are a big business.
As a consumer, you must be aware that supplement companies will do everything
they can to make you believe that you absolutely need their expensive product
to build muscle or lose fat.
Supplement companies write articles in fitness magazines, create blogs and
online forums... all to convince you to buy their products.
In many cases you may not even know that you are reading an advertisement.
These companies will try to impress you with obscure research studies showing
that their product "may" do this or "may" do that, but in
mose cases "may" ends up being "does not".
Don't fall for it. Use common sense and do your own research.
In the last 20 years, I have personally spent thousands and thousands of dollars
on supplements.
The image above is a picture of some of the supplements I have purchased and
tried recently.
Do You Really Need Supplements To Build Muscle Or Lose Fat?
The short answer is a big, fat NO.
People were building muscle and losing fat long before the first bodybuilding
supplements were created.
Supplements are NOT necessary
to successfully build muscle or lose fat.
They are not a "magic pill".
Taking some powder or capsule will not magically give you a six pack or 16
inch biceps. Those things are obtained with hard training and a strong diet.
What supplements can do is to enhance an existing diet and training program.
- Some products can make it easier for you to follow a strict diet by adding
a level of convenience.
- Others can improve your strength so that you can lift more and ultimately
build more muscle in the long run.
Over the years I have learned which products product real world results and
which are just nonsense.
